Mumbai-based SP Ultraflex's participation at Indiaplast 2022 has been very successful as the company has used the outcome as a platform to bring together many of its customers as well as meet new ones.

"When we were first approached by the organizers a few months back, nosotros were sceptical regarding our participation. All the same, we took a call to go ahead, participate and demonstrate our ROBOSLIT OHP slitter-rewinder. We believe we made a right determination given the kind of footfall we have seen during all the days. Five of our important customers got together at our stand and appreciated the upgrades that we have fabricated to the ROBOSLIT," says Biku Kohli, managing director, SP Ultraflex.

The ROBOSLIT OHP that is on display at SP Ultraflex'south stand up has been sold to a converter based in the NCR. Co-ordinate to Kohli, SP Ultraflex has sold 26 ROBOSLIT machines since its launch five years agone and eight of them, including the 1 that is on display at Indiaplast, have been sold in the N Indian region.

The company is commemorating the fifth anniversary twelvemonth of the ROBOSLIT and has had multiple live demonstrations of the motorcar at its stand at Indiaplast 2019, where it has run at speeds of 800 m/min on all days. The machine has evolved continuously over the years. While it was launched in 2014 with a modest speed of 500 yard/min, the speed of the machine is currently at 800 g/min for the standard version and 1000 m/min for the enhanced, 'plus' version.

The company is now preparing for its participation at the Grand show slated for October this year in Germany. "Unfortunately, we could not get a big plenty stand at 1000 testify where we could demonstrate the ROBOSLIT. And we did not want to show some other smaller machines. So, we have decided that since we cannot have a live demonstration of the ROBIOSLIT, we will have some kind of virtual demonstration. We are currently planning on that," says Kohli.

Afterwards the Grand show, SP Ultraflex will be seen at drupa 2020. Kohli says he is hoping the company gets a big enough stand which can suit the ROBOSLIT.
